GBA Oktoberfest Vietnam is a German beer festival, which organizers call the largest in Southeast Asia. In 2026, it will be held for the 34th time, again in three cities: Ho Chi Minh City (September 24–26), Da Nang (October 2), and Hanoi (October 8–10).
The format is the same for all cities: a Bavarian-style evening with unlimited German beer, a buffet of traditional German dishes, and live music. The German-Austrian orchestra O'zapft performs, with a DJ in between. Last year, the festival attracted over 11,000 guests and a record-breaking 25,000 liters of beer.

Who organizes
The festival is organized by the German Business Association in Vietnam (GBA, established in 1995 and representing over 400 companies) in conjunction with the German-Vietnamese Chamber of Commerce and Industry (AHK Vietnam), with the support of the German Embassy in Hanoi and the Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City. The Furama and JW Marriott hotels are hosting the festival in Da Nang and Hanoi. GBA Chairman Alexander Ts'ie calls the festival "a living bridge between the people and businesses of the two countries."
