HANOI: HERITAGE FESTIVAL ENDS ON SEPTEMBER 20

The Hanoi Heritage Flow 2026 festival linked the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long, the Temple of Literature, Bat Trang Village, and the Hanoi Museum with a route featuring crafts and performances. The festival closes at 20:00 PM at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.

Arrival rules have been updated from June 22.

On June 22, 2026, updated entry regulations for foreign citizens came into effect in Vietnam . Before arrival, you must complete an online declaration at prearrival.immigration.gov.vn and present the QR code at passport control. Failure to complete the form may result in delays at the border.

Telecom operators require data updates by August 15.08

Vietnamese mobile operators (Viettel, Mobifone, Vinaphone) are sending out mass text messages demanding subscribers update their personal data at the nearest mobile phone store. The deadline is August 15, 2026. Failure to do so may result in the number being blocked or restricted. For foreigners, this means visiting the operator's office with your passport and updating your linked data in person. Online access is not available.
