Can Tho River Culture Festival - Is the first ever major festival dedicated to the river culture and aquatic life of the Mekong Delta region, organized by the Can Tho city government to showcase the region's unique lifestyle, traditions and natural heritage.

🎯 Theme
The festival is held under the theme “Cần Thơ – The Colours of River/Waterways” and aims to:
popularization of water culture in the Mekong Delta and Can Tho city ;
strengthening the tourist attractiveness of the region;
raising awareness about the protection of aquatic ecosystems ;
development of water tourism and local folk crafts.

The festival features a variety of events and activities reflecting the life and culture of the river region:
🚤 Parade and show
A parade of colourfully decorated boats on the Haw River with traditional music;
Daytime and evening water competitions - regattas, SUP (stand-up paddleboard) races, sailing events;
Drone and fireworks show ;
🎨 Culture and Art
Exhibitions and installations about life on the river and culture of the Mekong Delta;
Photo and art exhibitions on the theme “Rhythms of life on the river – past and present”;
Night art programs, dancing, music with the participation of artists;
🍽️ Food and crafts
Exhibitions of OCOP products (One Commune One Product) and local cuisine;
Tastings, culinary demonstrations ;
