Hue Festival 2026 - International Arts Week
Hue Festival 2026 – International Arts Week is the main cultural event of the year in the ancient imperial capital of Vietnam, taking place from June 13 to 18, 2026, under the theme "Cultural Heritage, Integration, and Development ." International Arts Week will be the central event of the Hue festival season and will bring together artists, musicians, theater companies, and creative groups from Vietnam and around the world.
For six days, the historic city will be transformed into a massive open-air stage where the cultural heritage of the imperial capital will meet contemporary art. Concerts, theater productions, street performances, dance shows, traditional culture festivals, and international art programs will take place at various venues across the city, including the Imperial Citadel, the Perfume River embankment, and Hue's public spaces.
A special highlight of the program is Hue International Music Week, which will bring together artists and creative groups from France, Spain, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and Vietnam. Performances will take place on an open-air stage by the Perfume River, creating a unique blend of live music and the historic landscape of the ancient capital.
Festival guests will also enjoy colorful "Colors of Culture" street parades , displays of traditional Vietnamese ao dai costumes, performances by the Hue Royal Theatre, contemporary music projects, culinary events, and numerous cultural programs introducing visitors to the rich heritage of Central Vietnam.
The Hue Festival is considered one of Vietnam's largest international cultural events and plays a vital role in promoting the city as the country's festival capital. Annually, the festival's events attract hundreds of thousands of visitors, promoting tourism, international cooperation, and preserving the region's unique cultural heritage.
