Vietnam's first marine reserve: 350 species of coral right under your fins

Hon Mun Island is the number one destination for anyone visiting Vietnam for the underwater world. It's the country's only marine reserve with water clarity of up to 15–20 meters, home to over 350 species of coral, 250 species of reef fish, and clownfish nestling in the coral beds. Nha Trang is recognized as the diving capital of Vietnam: even if you've never dived before, an instructor will take you underwater, holding your hand, in the Try Dive mode. All this is a 30-minute speedboat ride from the city center—no shopping stops or crowds on board.

What awaits you:

  • 🐠 Snorkeling at Clownfish Point is the first dive site with shallow reefs: Nemo fish, starfish, and vibrant corals right at the surface of the water.

  • 🌊 Snorkeling at Hon Mun Island is the second best place in the reserve with the best reefs, water transparency up to 15-20 m, depth for snorkeling 2-5 m

  • 🤿 Try Dive (for beginners) - scuba diving without a certificate: an instructor explains the basics, accompanies you in the water, and takes photos

  • 🎓 Fun Dive (for certified) — independent dives up to 18 m with a divemaster guide to the best spots in the reserve

  • 🏖️ Relax on Hon Mot Island - beach with sun loungers, swimming, free time after diving

  • 🍱 Lunch on board or on the island - rice, fish dishes, soup and seasonal fruits right after snorkeling

  • 📸 Underwater photos and videos - the instructor takes photos during the dive, equipment and masks are already included

Testimonials:

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Dmitry, Moscow
*"I dived at Try Dive for the first time. I admit, I was a little scared. But the instructor reassured me while I was still on board, keeping me close the whole time. I saw moray eels, Nemo fish, and huge corals. My wife snorkeled up there and was also thrilled. We took the VIP boat—it was the right decision; the group was small, and there was no crowding in the water."*

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Anna, St. Petersburg
*"I'm a certified PADI diver and took the Fun Dive—two dives at different spots. The corals are truly recovering, and there are lots of fish. I especially liked the second spot with hard corals and starfish. The divemaster was knowledgeable and knew good reefs off the beaten track."*

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Irina, Kazan
*"I traveled with my children, ages 7 and 11. My eldest completed the Try Dive course—now he talks about nothing but diving. My youngest snorkeled right next to the boat—fish just swam up to him. Lunch on board was simple but delicious. Special thanks for the hotel transfer—very convenient, especially with kids."*
