Nha Trang's Northern Islands isn't a classic beach tour, but rather an amusement park on two islands in Nha Phu Bay: the flowery Orchid Island (Hoa Lan) and Monkey Island (Hon Lao). Orchid Island offers gardens with dozens of orchid species, photo zones, elephant and bird shows, a petting zoo, and a swimming beach. Monkey Island is home to approximately 1–3 macaques roaming freely, plus dog and monkey shows, as well as activities like go-karting and shallow snorkeling off the coast. This is one of the most popular "family" tours among Russian-speaking tourists, but it's important to understand the format in advance: this is an amusement park on islands, not a wilderness experience.

• 🐘 Ethics: Some tourists note that the format of animal shows (elephants, bears, trained monkeys) may seem questionable from a welfare perspective. It would be better to clearly indicate that there is a show, and then leave the choice to the guests.
