A channel for tourists to report safety and service quality issues has been launched on Phu Quoc Island.
The Phu Quoc Special Zone (People's Committee, UBND) authorities announced the launch of a channel through which tourists and residents can quickly submit inquiries regarding safety, as well as questions about the quality of goods and tourism services.
The region cites the need to more quickly respond to disputes related to service, pricing, and the organization of tourism activities as the reason for launching the new mechanism. Authorities openly acknowledge that during the peak season, there were complaints about last-minute cancellations, price hikes, and service disputes , which damaged the island's reputation.
Hotlines for specific areas have been published for contact information. For security and law enforcement inquiries, the line is 0774 80 88 99 , and for inquiries related to prices and services, the line is 0916 990 633.
