Starting April 15, foreigners arriving in Ho Chi Minh City via Tan Son Nhat Airport must complete an online declaration prior to arrival and present a QR code at passport control. This applies not only to visa-based entry but to all foreign citizens; it does not apply to Vietnamese citizens with Vietnamese passports or to transit passengers without passing through the border.
Fill out at prearrival.immigration.gov.vn ; if not done in advance, processing at the border may take longer.
