The cable car boarding station looks like the Colosseum building.
Opposite the Colosseum (if you stand facing the Colosseum, with your back to the sea), the grey building on the left is the ticket office. And through this same building in the evening, spectators are launched into the amphitheater for the Kiss of the Sea show.
Cable car opening hours:
✅ 09.00 — 11.30 — the cable car is operating.
❌ 11.30 to 13.30 - lunch break, cable car is not operating.
✅ 13.30 — 17.00 — the cable car is operating.
The ride takes about 20 minutes one way. The views are magnificent!
Ticket price: on the website and at the box office - 700 thousand dong per person.
We bought it from the guides at the booth on Long Beach at a discount for 660 thousand per person.
Where to buy: on the official website , on trip.com, on klook, at the guide booth on the street, directly at the ticket office in front of the cable car.
What is included in the ticket price:
✅ round trip cable car ride
✅ a small amusement park on the island (a donut-shaped observation deck and a-la-American coaster). That is, if you show your ticket for the cable car, you don't have to pay anything extra, you can ride these two attractions)
✅ visit to the water park with all the slides, which you can ride an unlimited number of times
❌ Not included in the standard ticket price:
- food on the island (for this you need to buy a more expensive ticket with a buffet)
- a towel (you can rent one there for 50 thousand dong + a refundable deposit of 50 thousand)
— a locker for things (separately rent lockers in the water park 50-100 thousand dong depending on the size of the locker + refundable deposit 50-100 thousand)
- flip-flops (they will be given for free for a refundable deposit of 50 thousand dong)
She showed me a map of the island - upon arrival, you exit the cable car building into a small park with a pond.
If you go straight ahead, you will find yourself in a modest amusement park with two attractions: a donut-shaped observation deck and a slide.
I recommend riding these rides first thing in the morning, so that you can then go to the water park for the whole day with peace of mind.
Because most likely after the water park you will be so tired that you won’t go on the rides anymore 😀
There is a free locker near the roller coaster where you leave your things while you are riding the coaster. You can't take your phone, glasses or GoPro with you. The coaster is quite jaw-dropping, but fun 😀😁🎉
But after the rides, you can safely head to the water park for the whole day.
About the water park:
❗️ Many girls wrote that they are not allowed on the slides in swimsuits with metal parts.
I have a completely fabric swimsuit, so I went through everything just fine.
— the water park has two buildings with lockers, changing rooms and toilets.
Changing clothes is free, if you need a towel, locker and flip-flops, you can get all this for a deposit + rent. We took only a large locker. We had our own towel and flip-flops.
— The slides are different — on some you ride in a 6-seater tube, on others there are 4-seater tubes, somewhere there are tubes for two, there are also slides where you slide down on these kind of mats, and slides where you just ride without anything, on your own back😅
Food: you won't die of hunger there😅
If you haven’t bought a ticket with a buffet (we bought one without it), then there are several pizza and fast food places on the territory of the water park.
Also, at the exit of the water park there are several large restaurants with food and a couple of fruit stands.
We ate at the Beer and BBQ restaurant. It was delicious.
Alco: draft beer is sold on the territory of the park and water park, you can even take a mug for a walk around the park, then just return the mug to the point of sale.
Beach: I can't say anything about the beach, we didn't have time to get there 😅
